The 30 Watt Transmitter Meteor was produced by the Danish manufacturer Johnsen in Kopenhagen. It was made for the German Kriegsmarine as a second line Transmitter. It wasn´t as good as some of the German designs but the need for more Radios gave it a chance on smaller Boats and such. This Transmitter is in bad condition but a rare example not a lot survived.

Here the connector for the morse key is located and the antenna connector that is missing. The hooks are sadly missing by wich it would have been suspended with rubber rings.

Here the connector for the microphone and the power-supply.

On the inside a loot of corrosion is visible and some missing parts in the antenna section. the rest is mostly complete.

The antenna Meter is not original.

Here the tuning capacitor is visible. and 4 of the six tubes. They are all the same type 4654 Pentodes.

The bottom isnt much better. A loot of corrosion all around but it could be worse.

A more detailed picture. This is where the power would come in to the device.

More details and loose cables.

Some large power resistors are visible. Also all parts were marked with red ink to prevent soldiers from changing parts.
