The Lo1UK35 was a very early design for a small portable Radio. It could be used on the ground, inside a Bunker or inside a Ship. It was easy to operate but could not Receiver and Transmit simultaneously. It could be operated on Telegrafie or Speach. It is one of the radios with the most Accessoires available.

the cover is water tight and protects the front. It is also storage for the Antenna.

The left side has some hooks to connect it to the wall by a Frame. the Frame is the most rare part of the Lo1Uk35.

On top the antenna can be connected securely. It could also use a 1.6m fixed antenna for Bunkers and ships.

The other side has the power connector for the different power-supplys. It also had knobs that can be turned to secure the batterys inside.

On the bottom two 90V anode batterys could be inserted in series.

Below the battery compartment and its connection cables are two more storage spaces for a morse key and a kopffernsprecher.

the cover for the 2V heater battery. It also has the key to set the preset frequencys.

The cover removed the two cables are visible. Below them is a connector that can be pulled out. It changes the Lo1 from Battery use to Power-supply use. IMPORTANT the 2V battery has to be connected even when using a power-supply. It puffers the Voltage without it the tubes may be damaged because the Voltage will spike.

Here the key is used to preset a frequency. Just turn it to remove the already existing one and turn it again when you have reached the desired frequency.

The Front the two big knobs are for frequency control and inside them is either a finde tuning know or a antenna fine tuner as the case for the Transmitter. below them to the left is the Tone control and to the right is the On/Off switch wich also switches different modes. Telegrafie, Telefonie and Empfang. A small button is also located at the bottom to tune both receiver and transmitter to the same frequency.

A faint Kriegsmarine mark can be seen between the two connectors. The type plate does not say Lo1 instead its other name SE.42444/c. It was made in 1943.

inside the case is only the power connector at the back.

On top a big Lorenz logo can be seen. The lo1 was not only produced in Germany but also in license in France. This one is a German production one. some adjustment ports are also visible.

On the back two RV2P800 tubes are visible.

A close up reveals very nice Sikatrop capacitors they never go bad.

The right side. Here the transmitter is located tho it does use some tubes of the Receiver as well wich is why you can not receive and transmitt at the same time. also the power conecctor is located here.

Here the Receiver part. You can see all numbers are matching 525 is written everywhere.

the bottom side is also shielded.

When the cover is removed some beautiful parts reveal them self. The copper looking things are the IF stage. The copper shields them. The big ON/OFF switch is also visible.

The Voltage meter is visible too and the ceramic tuning capacitor. Everything has its own little box to get the best frequency stability.

What more is to say here…

Here the inside of the cover where the antenna is mounted to. The cover can only be put on when the Radio is switched off for safety.
