Telefunken S.I III.F

This is the Telefunken S.I III.F Speaker. It was used on the outside of larger ships and with the help of the front cover was weather proof so that no Water could get inside it.

Here the cover is opened. It has a large handle on the front wich can be locked and unlocked by turning it.

The type plate on the bottom and a stamp from the Kriegsmarine.

On the bottom is a water tight connector.

Here a side view. The whole speaker is very large and heavy. I mounted it to my Wall and I use it with my Telefunken Ela 1012 wich sounds very good and is surprisingly loud and clear.
